Exciting news for the Montreal-based quartet, Ragers, as they are gearing up for the release of Missed Calls from Home, a 10-track LP due out on September 29th, 2023. As a preview, the band will be playing an exclusive show at the JACKALOPE on the skatepark on August 25 at the Fireball Zone, presented by Kartel Musik, where you will have the chance to hear some of the new material before anyone else! The show is open to the general public, and admission is FREE!
With their return to alternative rock, it’s safe to say that Ragers are definitely “back to the roots”, having dabbled in pop-punk a few years ago before venturing into hip-hop sounds. After a decade of being considered “experimental”, it seems that with this new project, the band has found an answer to experimentation.

What can you expect from Ragers?
What to expect from Ragers? Stomach-punching percussion, catchy, driving guitar riffs and heartfelt, sometimes uncomfortable lyrics that tell stories of love and grief, explain actions as why calls from loved ones might go unanswered.
“The real genesis of our friendship goes back many years. We met when we were young, and instantly bonded over our love of punk and skateboard culture. We’d grown up on 123 Punk, Jackass, Millencolin, Blink-182, long sweltering summer days spent indoors playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, or at the local skatepark messing around with our friends“, says Billy.
” Influenced by events that combine skateboarding and music, from Warped Tour to Jackalope, our upcoming album is an ode to the music that forged our adolescence, from the pop-punk sound of the early 2000s to the abrasive elements of hip-hop style. We can’t wait to bring it to you in our hometown“, says Jake.
Want to get in the vibe before the show? Ragers have just released a summer anthem entitled “Nightmares of my Summer Days”. This track follows their recent releases “Only Sins No Tragedies” and “Tossed Out”, which really sets the tone for the show to come!
