Like every year, JACKALOPE launches its JACKALOPE BLOCK PARTY summer tour, amateur competitions across Canada, to find the country’s best skateboarders and invite them to take part in the Montreal JACKALOPE Festival.

After two editions in Leduc last June, then Terrebonne at the beginning of July, the tour ended in Rosemont (Montreal) on 15 July in the Père Marquette park. The programme included Jam-style skateboarding competitions in the Advanced Men’s and Women’s categories, followed by Beginners.

The competition for our young Beginners helped to bring this final stage of the day to a close, and in the end it was the Beginners who came out on top.

The day continued with the contest jam in the advanced men’s category.

Our amateur skateboarders gave it their all in a bid to win the last Golden Ticket of the tour and compete at the JACKALOPE Montréal Festival. After finishing 3rd in Terrebonne, Olivier Felton will be competing at the JACKALOPE, having won his Golden Ticket to the festival.

The JACKALOPE BLOCK PARTY 2023 tour came to a close with the advanced women’s category skateboarding competition.

Héloïse Wathelet came out on top to win the famous Golden Ticket to the JACKALOPE Festival in Montreal from 25 to 27 August 2023, ahead of Naomie Mariné, again in second place as when she took part in Terrebonne, and Frédérique Luyet.
