✈ Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your journey in skateboarding?
I started skating when I was 5 years old. My mom took me and my sister to a community learn-to-skate clinic and I loved it from the very first day. I couldn’t wait to get my own skateboard! I was hooked and spent every available moment after school skating. I progressed quickly and had the privilege of skating at the best local skatepark with a really nice local skate crew. I attended numerous community clinics, always eager to learn and improve. I developed a passion for skating big bowls and had my first experience in a 12ft bowl when I was just 6 years old.
Recently, my city built a massive 14ft vert ramp, which I immediately fell in love with, making vert skating my favorite style. Over the past four years, I’ve received lots of support and sponsorship from various companies, including a skateshop, skateboard, shoes, helmets, trucks, and wheels. I’m also proud to be part of some great skate teams both here and in the US. I still can’t believe that I’m going overseas this year! It’s been the best ride so far!

✈ What is your favorite skate style and why?
I love skating everything—street, bowls, and vert—but the big vert ramps are my favorite! I love flying really high, and I learn so much from skating vert. It’s a totally different feeling that I can’t get enough of.
✈ How would you describe the impact of skateboarding on your life and personality?
Skateboarding is a massive part of my life. I go to school every day and then head to the skatepark most afternoons for a couple of hours! Even after we moved houses, my favorite bowl and vert ramp are still over an hour’s drive away, but that doesn’t stop me. I feel like skateboarding really resonates with my personality—outgoing, brave, and creative!
✈ Is there a particular skater you’ve met who has left a lasting impression on you or inspires you and why?
I haven’t had the chance to meet many pro skaters, but the people who taught me how to skate through community lessons have left the most lasting impression—they’re like my real skate family! I’ve always been a fan of Steve Caballero ever since I first saw his videos, and, of course, Tony Hawk. Each skater inspires me for different reasons, and that’s what’s so cool about the skateboarding community!

✈ What are your goals as a skater and how do you plan to achieve them?
X Games would be a dream come true for me! I’m also eyeing SLS, even though I’m not as strong in street skating. But I absolutely love it!
✈ Can you tell us about your encounter with Mike, the moment he handed you your Golden Ticket?
Mike is so funny and a little bit crazy! Hanging out with him for the day was an absolute blast—he had me laughing nonstop. We had a long day shooting together, from morning until the hot evening, and I was wondering why we were out so late skating that day. Then, out of the blue, he mentioned he had a surprise for me. I’d seen a couple of others receive golden tickets before, but I never thought I’d be one of them! I was completely shocked and speechless—I’m usually not quiet, but that moment left me in disbelief!
✈ Have you ever skateboarded outside of your country?
I’ve never been outside of Australia, so the fact that I’ll soon be in Canada is unbelievable!
✈ What are you most looking forward to about your participation in JACKALOPE Mississauga?
I’m excited to become a part of another skate family, experience skating vert there, meet new people, and skate with Mike again! Who knows, maybe I’ll even teach Mike a thing or two about dropping into the vert ramp!

Um, every day at the skatepark is a unique experience filled with different people and vibes, making each moment memorable in its own way!
✈ Is there a specific place where you’d love to skate?
Not really, I’d just be so happy to skate anywhere and everywhere!
✈ What advice would you give to young skaters aspiring to succeed in this sport?
I would tell young skaters to just get out there and keep skating! Don’t let setbacks discourage you; always keep it fun, work hard to learn and improve at your own pace, and never give up—keep pushing yourself!
