Open Competition

If you’re looking to test your abilities against some of the sport’s top level athletes, then the Open Competition is for you! With elite athletes such as Matthew Rodriguez, the winner of JACKALOPE Virginia Beach 2024 in attendance, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Kicking off the weekend on July 12th, the qualification round will run from 6 pm to 9 pm with Finals set from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on July 13th. Brace yourself for the adrenaline rush as top qualifiers in the Men’s and Women’s categories battle it out for a chance to claim their share of the impressive $10,000 prize pool awaiting the top three for both the Men and Women’s categories.

Citizen Competition

Are you a local enthusiast looking to experience the thrill of competing with none of the added pressure? The Citizen Competition offers an opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for climbing! With two heats taking place on July 13th from 9 am to 12 pm and 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm respectively, climbers of all levels and ages are encouraged to participate in this friendly competition. This event serves as a great opportunity to experience the excitement of competing in a supportive environment.

DYNO Competition

Athletes registered in either the Open or Citizen Competitions are also invited to compete in the DYNO Competition on July 14th. With a qualifying round taking place from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday and finals running from 5:30 pm to 6:30pm, this thrilling event challenges climbers to showcase their dynamic movement skills, jumping from one hold to another on single move boulders. Testing participants’ strength and agility and $1,000 in prizes on the line, the DYNO Competition adds an extra layer of excitement to the weekend.

Boulder Scramble Pass

The competition wall will be open from 10 am to 5 pm on July 14th for those with the Boulder Scramble Pass. Designed for those who want to try the boulders without the pressure of competing, this pass provides access to a wide range of problems (V0 to V10) tailored to varying abilities. Please note, however, that this pass only gives access to the boulders during the time indicated and does not include access to compete in the Open, Citizen, or DYNO Competitions.

With something for everyone, JACKALOPE MISSISSAUGA promises a weekend full of unforgettable climbing experiences.
