Canada’s biggest action sports festival returns to the city this August, bringing three full days of bouldering action for climbers of all levels. Whether you’re here to compete or just climb for the fun of it, the JACKALOPE Mississauga 2025 bouldering experience, presented by Arc’teryx and Up The Bloc, promises high energy, great vibes, and unforgettable moments.
Here’s everything you can expect this year on the wall.
Open Competition
Think you’ve got what it takes to go head-to-head with some of Canada’s strongest climbers? The Open category is your chance to prove it. This year, Open competitors will be able to choose their qualifying session: either Friday at 6pm or Saturday at 9am.
The top athletes will advance to the Finals on Saturday at 8pm, where they’ll face off in front of a crowd and climb under the lights on the newly activated Monolith Wall.
Cash prizes and bragging rights are on the line, don’t miss your chance to be part of it.

Citizen Competition
Climb for the fun, the vibes, and the community. The Citizen category is open to climbers of all levels and is the perfect way to get a taste of the comp experience in a relaxed setting.
No pressure: just fun routes, supportive crowds, and great energy all around.
The schedule:
Friday: Open Mixed Qualifications – from 6 to 9pm
Saturday: HEAT #1 – from 9am to 12pm / HEAT #2 – from 12:30 to 3:30 PM

DYNO Competition
Big jumps, big cheers. The DYNO Competition returns on Sunday, July 13 at 5:30pm to close out the weekend with a bang.
This fan-favorite event challenges climbers to launch themselves from hold to hold in a high-flying display of power and control. Open to all registered climbers (Open or Citizen), with $1,000 in cash prizes up for grabs!
Boulder Scramble Pass
Want to climb without competing? We’ve got you covered.
The Scramble Pass gives you access to the comp wall on Sunday 13th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, where you’ll be free to try boulders ranging from V0 to V10. It’s a great option for casual climbers, families, and anyone who just wants to session with friends in a no-pressure environment.
Please note: This pass does not include access to any of the competitions.
