Chad Caruso, a skateboarder from Long Island (NY), is going to push across the United States from West to East to raise money for addiction awareness. Starting in Venice Beach (CA), he will travel more than 3000 miles (4830 km) to Virginia Beach (VA) for the JACKALOPE and make it a Guinness World Record.

Chad undertook this journey because skateboarding personally brought him back on the right path through a turbulent life path.

Sober for six years now, he wants to send a positive message of hope. To convey this message, skateboarding is his voice of choice as it has been his path to redemption.

On March 24th, for a period of about two months, he will be traveling the roads of the country hoping to rally people around the cause he supports. In the end, 25% of the funds raised during his journey will be donated to Natural High, a non-profit organization for the prevention of drug addiction.

Both driven by adrenaline-filled experiences, Chad and JACKALOPE will mark the finale of this epic journey with an action sports festival featuring active youth in skateboarding, bouldering, base jumping, skydiving, BMX, FMX, and much more.
