BASE jumping is not a crime, even less when you are a woman. Bold yes, but not reckless. Catherine is not the type to jump into the void impulsively. After having made more than 5000 skydives and 350 BASE jumps, she is slowly but surely preparing herself to be able to fly a wingsuit, "because it's the closest thing to flying".
