Adrenaline (n.f.), our brand new series presents Catherine V Roy, Frédérique Luyet, Zoé Beauchemin and Raphaële Lemieux, four women who are redefining what it is to be a woman in 2021!
In each episode, we highlight far too talented athletes and the sport that has driven them for many years.
ADRÉNALINE (n.f.) / Bouldering
"What I really like about climbing is that the opportunities are endless because the sport is still young." On the little-known lines of the Val-David regional park or on the indoor boulders of Allez up, Zoe Beauchemin is not afraid to try new challenges. Completely audacious and above all, really talented! To get to know more about the national athlete, it's here.
ADRÉNALINE (n.f.) / Skateboarding
"Me, I'm in love with skateboarding for life". Fred, Frédérique Luyet, founder of Les Vagabonnes, call her what you want, this girl is the 2019 national champion in skateboarding and invites all the girls to dare more and more!
ADRÉNALINE (n.f.) / Fixed gear
Raphaële is the girl who never brags... but we can do it for her! An accomplished athlete, she masters the bike with great feats that impress us every time. There is a reason Raphaële finished 1st overall in the 2018 Red Hook Crit Series: she is a true enthusiast.
ADRÉNALINE (n.f.) / Base jumping
BASE jumping is not a crime, even less when you are a woman. Bold yes, but not reckless. Catherine is not the type to jump into the void impulsively. After having made more than 5000 skydives and 350 BASE jumps, she is slowly but surely preparing herself to be able to fly a wingsuit, "because it's the closest thing to flying".
