From September 12 to 14, 2025, JACKALOPE returns to its home turf for three epic days at the Quai Jacques Cartier in the Old Port of Montréal. Expect world-class competitions, legendary athletes, and an atmosphere that brings the entire action sports community together… and the best part? It’s completely free for the public.

Vert is Taking Over
The Vert contest is back and bigger than ever with a stacked lineup of pro skaters ready to drop in. The highlight? Skateboarding icon Bob Burnquist will be on-site, making this year’s Vert best tricks sessions truly unmissable. And he won’t be alone: Arisa Trew, Jada Ward, Ema Kawakami and our Mississauga 2025 champion JD Sanchez will also be throwing down on the ramp, making this lineup one for the books.
And to raise the stakes even higher, the Men’s and Women’s Open Vert winners will earn an all‑expenses‑paid trip to Brazil to compete in Rony Gomes’ legendary event, Vert Battle.
While we pushed hard to bring a Street course to Montréal this year, the funding didn’t line up. But don’t worry, our energy is fully focused on delivering an unforgettable Vert & Bouldering experience and elevating the rest of the festival program even further.
Climbing With Arc’teryx
Climbing fans, this one’s for you. Thanks to our climb partner Arc’teryx, JACKALOPE will feature two high-intensity competitions, in partnership with Allez Up:
These events will test strength, speed, and creativity on the wall, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats all weekend.
You can also test out the sport for yourself on the Arc’teryx bouldering initiations wall, where sports specialists will be right there by your side to teach you how to climb using the right technique. Shoes and chalk will be provided to you as well!
From Challenge to Chill, Brought to You by our Partners
This year, once again, our major partner Desjardins will bring their active lifestyle-sourced activation to the festival with the Parcours Desjardins, designed to engage and entertain festival-goers on a monkeybar-filled, skill-testing obstacle course (get your very own memorabilia surprise at the end!)
And that’s not all: the public will also enjoy free sampling from our beverage partners, including Jarritos, Smirnoff, Electrolit, HOOP Tea, and Arizona, keeping the crowd refreshed and energized all weekend long.

Shredder Pass: Your Ticket to Ride
JACKALOPE isn’t just for watching the pros. With the Shredder Pass, skaters can drop into the Vert or the mini-ramp outside of contest hours. It’s your chance to skate on the same ramps as the legends.
Competitions for the Next Generation
The future of action sports is already here. That’s why JACKALOPE Montréal is hosting a full program for young skaters:
- Groms Vert Contest (under 15)
- Mini-ramp Groms Best Trick (under 15)
- Pup-Cup Contest (under 7, on the mini-ramp)
These contests are where you’ll see the next generation of talent stepping up, cheered on by a crowd of thousands.
New In: Calisthenics Showdown
Get ready for an electrifying showcase of freestyle calisthenics! Athletes will take over the bars with dynamic combos, strength holds, and gravity-defying skills that blend strength, creativity, and style. Expect high-flying releases, controlled holds, and unique flows that push the limits of bodyweight movement. Whether you’re new to calisthenics or a long-time fan, this demo will give you a front-row seat to the artistry and athleticism of freestyle.
