Imagine the scene: You’re in front of our custom skatepark and the JACKALOPE Vert ramp, with the ocean as your backdrop, watching international athletes battle for the cash prize. Look up—BASE jumpers are taking off from the Hilton, and highliners are walking a skyline wire from the Hilton to the Hampton Inn.
Want more? Moto X and BMX demos on the sand, skimboarding, and freestyle jet skiing on the water bring even more action to the fest.
What else? Roller skating, adaptive skateboarding, live music, food trucks, pop-up shops, and exclusive experiences. Who said JACKALOPE couldn’t get any more breathtaking?

STREET & VERT SKATEBOARDING COMPETITIONS
Women, groms, men, and kids (pop cup) —registrations are now open! You got this.
This is your chance to show off your skills on an international stage and prove what you’re made of. Plus, you’ll get to witness our golden ticket winners take their shot alongside pro athletes.

If you’ve been to JACKALOPE Virginia Beach before, you’ve probably had a blast watching the Skim USA contests!
What is skimboarding? It’s a water sport where athletes ride a small, flat board on the shoreline, gliding over the water’s surface. Skimboarders run toward the water, drop the board on the shallow water, and ride it—performing tricks or simply gliding along the waves.
A mix of surfing and skateboarding, it’s definitely a must-watch at JACKALOPE.
ROLLER SKATE
Skaters and inline shredders, this is your time to shine!
The Roller Skate/Inline Skate Course Contest and the Karma Skate Battle bring high-energy action, fierce competition, and serious prizes to the festival.
Skaters will be judged on difficulty, execution, course usage, flow, consistency, and trick variety. Each competitor gets two 45-second runs, with only their best score counting. The top 5 finalists will battle it out in a final showdown for the podium!

FREESTYLE JETSKI
This thrilling sport—the water brother of motocross—will make waves at JACKALOPE!
2024 World Champion Parker Scholand, James Juvet, and their crew are coming to town to execute flips, spins, high jumps, and insane maneuvers at high speeds.
Urban highlining is slacklining taken to new heights—literally. Athletes walk across a 100m line suspended between the Hilton Oceanfront and the Hampton Inn, from the 10th floor.
A breathtaking mix of balance, skill, and courage.
ADAPTIVE SKATEBOARD AND WCMX (Wheelchair Motocross)
Kanya Sesser has been part of the JACKALOPE Fam for years, and it was about time we give her and her crew more space to shine.
