We’ve got big news. You might’ve already heard… or maybe not. For the very first time, JACKALOPE BLOCK PARTY is coming to California and it’s free to the public thanks to Visit Ventura. We’re taking over downtown Ventura from May 1 to 3, 2026.
We’re bringing the vert ramp, the DJ booth, and all the good vibes. It’s going to be a high-energy, community-powered celebration of skateboarding, music, food, and culture. All JACKALOPE style. Think of it as the little brother to JACKALOPE Fests. Same action sports DNA, just on a smaller, tighter scale. JACKALOPE BLOCK PARTY is how we take our vibe to the streets and connect with new communities through raw talent and shared passion.
For this Ventura edition, we’re going all-in on vert skateboarding. Competitions are happening exclusively on the vert ramp, and it’s open to all levels. We’re putting $20,000 in total prizes on the line and an all-expenses-paid trip to JACKALOPE Virginia Beach 2026.
JACKALOPE was born in Montréal, with a mission to spotlight athletes, and bring people together through unforgettable experiences. JACKALOPE BLOCK PARTY is our way of doing just that, one city at a time. Ventura feels like the perfect next chapter. The coastal energy, the strong skate scene and community, it all fits. We’re stoked to finally bring our West Coast story to life here.
What to Expect in Ventura:

This is a free to the public, all-ages event.

Since 2012, we’ve hosted legends like Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Elliot Sloan, Bucky Lasek, Lizzie Armanto, Andy Macdonald, and Pedro Barros, and discovered so many new faces along the way. Our Golden Ticket program is all about finding the next wave of talent and helping them level up from local parks to international stages.
